Phoenix Symphony appoints new GM and board officers

The Phoenix Symphony has concluded a search for general manager with the appointment of Andrew Kipe, the current executive director for the Maryland Symphony Orchestra.

At the 2010 Annual Meeting of the Phoenix Symphony Association in November, the board of directors approved elections which reinstated members for the remainder of their annual term. C.A. Howlett was elected for his third term as board chair and Douglas Scheetz, Linda Hunt, Mal Jozoff, Christine Gustafson, John Graham and Donald Brandt were reinstated as treasurer, secretary, contract review committee, development, nominating & governance, and audit vice chairs, respectively.
