Bratwursts, brews, and oompah-pahs will spice up Historic Downtown Chandler for the Third Annual Chandler Oktoberfest on Saturday, Sept. 25. An estimated 5,000 Oktoberfest revelers will gather at SanTan Brewing Company (8 S. San Marcos Place, between Arizona Avenue and Buffalo Street) beginning at 2 p.m. and party until 11 p.m.

Local microbrewer SanTan Brewing Company will set up Bavarian style Biergartens and offer a spectacular assortment of fine craft beers (available for purchase by adults 21 and over). SanTan Brewing and Von Hanson Meats will also serve up signature-style Bratwurst, German sausages and many other Oktoberfest treats.

The festival includes beer Olympics, strongest man competition with the Tundra Tug provided by Big Two Toyota, beer pong tournament, bratwurst eating contest, keg stacking, as well as kid-friendly activities and games, including bounce houses, tricycle races and bag toss. An impressive lineup of entertainment will be showcased, including authentic polka tunes from the Arizona Accordion Club and live music and entertainment.

Tickets are only $10 and may be purchased at SanTan Brewing Company, one of the festival sponsors.
