In Bob Beane’s wonderful world, bicyclists would own the highway and automobiles would be delegated to a car lane ... required to drive single-file (“Drivers don’t own the road, share it with others,” AFN, April 20).

To hear Beane tell it, bicyclists always observe the single-file rule. As the rest of us see it, it’s most often three-abreast, blocking traffic flow.

I’d like to see a license requirement, such that the public could simply mail in a photo of these scofflaws in action, and they’d be ticketed per their license plate.

You’d be all for that wouldn’t you, Bob?
