Voices for CASA Children (V4CC) is a new 501(c) (3), dedicated to supporting advocacy for abused and neglected children in Maricopa County. V4CC raises funds and provides resources to enable CASA of Maricopa County to recruit, train and support a larger volunteer force of Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASAs), who bring a consistent presence and a voice to these children.

Maricopa County has 7,365 children in state care. Currently, 284 CASA volunteers are advocating for 382 children in this county alone, leaving 6,983 without a CASA by their side, or approximately 89 percent. With only one or two cases on average, a CASA has the time to establish strong one-on-one relationships and to look out for the child's best interests for as long as it takes to find a safe, permanent home.
