Two local teams win soccer title

The Sabotage, an AYSO U14 girls soccer team, won the Fort Lowell
Shootout in Tucson last weekend. The team consists of girls from
all over Ahwatukee Foothills as schools represented were Altadena,
Centennial, Akimel A-al, Aprende and Kyrene middle schools, Horizon
Honors and Desert Vista high schools.
Aria Armstrong was named player of the tournament after the
Sabotage beat the Prescott Pride 3-0 in the championship game.
The Comets, an AYSO U10 girls soccer team, comprised of
Ahwatukee Foothills residents, won its division championship at the
Shootout.
The tournament, now it is 21st year, includes teams from
throughout the Southwest, Arizona, Texas, New Mexico and
California.
