Center Pointe Dance Company was named "top studio" in both the primary and secondary levels at Kids Artistic Revue competition the weekend of June 3-5.
The distinction of "top primary studio" and "top secondary studio" was earned through numerous high scoring dance routines ranging from solos, duos, trios, small groups and production numbers in all styles of dance including jazz, tap, ballet, contemporary and hip-hop.
Center Pointe Dance Company is a competition and performance group that consists of 37 dancers ages 4 through 19 years old and has been a fixture in Ahwatukee since 2003.
The next stop for the Center Pointe Dance Company is K.A.R. National Competition in Las Vegas at the MGM Grand Hotel July 3-9.
Dancers have been preparing for nationals by working hard at rehearsals four days a week and seven to eight hours a day.
