It's hard to decide if this is the epitome of stupidity or if the Western World is knowingly trying to help Islam establish its objective of a world-wide caliphate. Whatever it is, things are looking worse for the good guys all of the time. Once Egypt falls, who's next? Israel? Israel is one of the really good guys. That little oasis of democracy and freedom in the Middle East is rapidly being surrounded by those who want it to vanish. Will we allow it to happen?

With friends like the U.S., one needs no enemies. It looks as if we're doing the same thing to Israel that we did to China, Korea and Cuba when we allowed (supported) the Communist takeover of those nations. Only the names of the players have changed. Would you rather be a prisoner of a Communist dictatorship or an Islamic caliphate (dictatorship)? Either one is a bad choice. The day of reckoning is rapidly approaching thanks to our socialist government and its control of the media and the education system. We're about to learn if 60 years of socialist brainwashing has been successful.

In the case of Israel, it will be a fight to the death against Islam. The believers in Islam hate Israelis with a religious passion. If, and when, we become involved in the defense of Israel, World War III will start in earnest, and we're too weak to win this one.

Freedom must be a terrible thing. So terrible that no "free" nation wants it to survive. The politically correct subservience to socialism seems to be more acceptable. Only lip service is given to freedom as we once knew it.

The words of Benjamin Franklin come back to haunt: "A republic if you can keep it." Need I say more?

So, get on your horse and fight for freedom and liberty. Make phone calls and write letters to your legislators at the national and state levels. Attend Tea Party meetings. Get involved! And stay involved!

America is an exceptional nation. Start teaching that in our schools again.

Salaam, comrade.
