Owners: Lawrence M. Lazzara, Jr., Esq. and Joy Elizabeth Parker, Esq.

Q: Where are you from and what did you do before opening your business?

A: Lawrence Lazzara is from New Jersey. He was a prosecutor in New York City before coming to Arizona to start his own practice. He also worked for one of Arizona's largest personal injury firms just prior to opening the doors to his own practice.

Q: Why did you open your business in Ahwatukee?

A: Great and loyal people in this town. It is a charming community that breeds a desire to do good work for good people.

Q: How did you get the idea to open your business?

A: It was a dream of Lazzara's since going to law school. He also has a background as an ocean rescuer and loves to incorporate his passion for rescuing others into his legal career, as well as to continue rescuing victims and their families - only now, by getting them through the aftermath of a victimizing event.

Q: What type of merchandise/services do you sell?

A: Legal services for those injured by the negligence of others.

Q: What does your business offer that no one else does?

A: We pride ourselves on bringing honesty, integrity and class to the practice of law. We offer our clients top-notch legal services, adhering to the highest ethical and professional standards in the industry while still being aggressive. We are also residents of the local community. We are different from the big law firms in that our attorneys do not carry case loads in the 300s or 400s, instead, they carry a smaller case load and dedicate all their resources towards attention to detail and obtaining better results through modern advocacy. Our attorneys are also readily available to our clients, something the large law firm attorneys could not possibly offer with such large case loads. Our attorneys and staff are personable, caring and diligent. Our cases are resolved quickly and with great success, making us the best choice for local residents who need legal representation.

Q: How have residents of the community responded to your business?

A: They love having a classy, respectable attorney with old-fashioned values just a short drive away. Our attorneys and staff are frequently invited to clients' weddings, ceremonies and other family functions, simply because of the professional and amicable relationships we foster with them. They trust us to such extent that they want us to be a part of their family (for example: I recently had a child. One client of mine knitted mittens and a hat for my son; another bought my son a Christmas outfit; another invited me to their house for Christmas dinner).

Q: What does your business have in store for the future?

A: We are partnering with local health care providers to develop www.myazinjury.com into the best, state-of-the-art personal injury website in the state. We are looking to lecture at the local high schools and universities about traffic law and bodily injuries resulting there from. We are also looking into making presentations at the local gyms and auto dealerships. Our goal is to be the East Valley's home-grown injury law firm, dedicated to representing local citizens through their times of need.

Q: Anything else you want the community to know about you or your business?

A: People can tell us about their case via our website, and an attorney will review their matter for free and provide guidance as to whether they have a case and whom could assist in their medical treatment. Our fees come out of the settlement - so, we don't get paid unless our client gets paid. Health care providers are welcome to contact us about contributing to our website and referring their patient's cases to us.
