Cole must be replaced on Village Planning Committee

The Arizona Republic reported on Dec. 22 that Maricopa County
Attorney Bill Montgomery was not going to charge legislators and
lobbyists in the Fiesta Bowl investigation. There may not be enough
legal evidence to clean house, but common sense dictates the people
of Ahwatukee, and mayor-elect Greg Stanton needs to clean house on
the Ahwatukee Village Planning Committee.
One of the lobbyists investigated was Doug Cole, a current member
of the Ahwatukee Village Planning Committee. The list of
politicians investigated was long, but the list of lobbyists is
short. Cole is one of three lobbyists listed in the article. The
people of Ahwatukee deserve better representation. Keep it simple;
this comes down to ethics, right and wrong. Members who impact
Ahwatukee’s future need to be held to a standard beyond approach.
Cole needs to be replaced. As a resident of Ahwatukee, what are you
going to do about it?
