MP swim to host fundraiser tomorrow
The Mountain Pointe swim team is hosting its annual car wash fundraiser on Saturday, Sept. 8 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Burger King parking lot at the corner of 48th Street and Warner Road.
Proceeds will benefit the MPHS swim and dive team and Make a Splash, whose goal is to ensure that every child learns to swim.
Zoyo, a neighborhood yogurt place, will also contribute 20 percent of its proceeds from the day to the swim program. Customers need to mention that they are supporting MPHS Swim & Dive.
