Arizona Broadway Theatre (ABT Performing Arts Association, Inc.) is the recent recipient of a $5,000 grant award from the Summer Youth Program Fund of Maricopa County, www.SummerYouthProgramFund.org, which is part of the Arizona Community Foundation.
The funding will be used for scholarships for ABT’s Academy for Young Performers’ Summer Experience camp sessions at the theater in June and July.
In addition, the award will help to defray expenses associated with the addition of a two-week camp session designed to expand and improve the grouping of campers by age and allow for the provision of enhanced age-appropriate activities.
