The city of Phoenix Neighborhood Services Department (NSD) is hosting a Graffiti Free Phoenix: Day at the Legislature from 9 to 11 a.m. this Friday, Jan. 11, at the Arizona State Capitol, 1700 W. Washington St.

To show their support, residents can register at the kiosks. By doing so, it allows residents to log in and comment on the graffiti legislation once it is being heard by the Legislature.

NSD also asks residents to extend an invitation to their neighbors, friends and family to the event so they may get signed up. During the event, staff will provide an update on the proposed anti-graffiti legislation.

Those unable to join city staff and community members at the Capitol can give NSD permission to sign them up remotely. To sign someone up, residents must send an email to giving the city permission.

The email must include the supporter’s full name, home address, phone number and email address.

Upon arrival at the Capitol, attendees are asked to meet staff at the Neighborhood Services tents on the Capitol Lawn. Light refreshments will be provided.
