The Tempe Center for the Arts is seeking volunteer golf cart drivers to shuttle patrons to and from pickup and drop-off points for Ballet Under the Stars from 5:15 p.m. to 10 p.m. Friday, Sept. 21, at the City of Tempe Arts Park Amphitheater, 700 W. Rio Salado Parkway. The annual outdoor music event draws 3,500-4,000 people each year.
Drivers will receive a 15-20 minute orientation, and must be at least 21, have a valid driver’s license, and commit to working about 5 hours, according to the ad on www.volunteermatch.org.
