Tickets will go on sale June 1 for the July 4th Tempe Town Lake Festival, which is the largest fireworks display in Arizona. The event begins at 5 p.m. at Tempe Beach Park and includes live entertainment, a splash zone, rock climbing walls, kids activities and a 35-minute fireworks show launched from the Mill Avenue Bridge. Proceeds from the 61st annual show benefit charities sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Tempe.
Tickets are $5 through July 3 if bought at city of Tempe offices. All Valley Fry’s stores sell tickets for $6. Day-of tickets are $8 each, or two for $15.
