Maricopa County Sheriff’s deputies are searching for two suspects believed to be responsible for firing off at least 14 shots not far from Tempe’s Arizona Mills Mall on Tuesday.
The shots rang out about 11:30 a.m. at a nearby Holiday Inn hotel before the two suspects fled the shooting scene – one in a vehicle and the other on foot. They possibly fled into the mall, according to the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office.
Although the mall was not evacuated, it was partially cordoned off while deputies searched the area.
