Tempe Chief of Police Tom Ryff received the “Friend of NOBLE Award” from the National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives (NOBLE) on March 20.

The Friend of NOBLE award recognizes a public leader who has demonstrated themselves as a highly competent public servant at the forefront of providing solutions for law enforcement issues and concerns in the community.

“Chief Ryff has consistently demonstrated leadership and dedication to creating an environment where inclusiveness and transparency are a fundamental part of the decision-making process in revolving challenges facing our community and region,” stated NOBLE Executive Board Member Glendale Police Cmdr.
