With vacations and school filling calendars in July and August, new volunteers are needed to help pack food at Tempe's Feed My Starving Children.

Feed My Starving Children is a nonprofit organization that uses volunteers to pack millions of meals each year to send to malnourished families around the world.

The Tempe packing site, one of several across the country, has 21 packing sessions each week.

Registration is required and can be found online at www.fmsc.org.

Feed My Starving Children's Tempe packing site is at 7965 S. Priest Drive, Suite #106. Last year, 657,000 volunteers nationwide produced 163 million meals.
