Sign, baby, sign

Baby talk doesn’t have to be all “talk.” In many cases, young children thrive with communication through the use of sign language.

Tempe’s Changing Hands Bookstore will offer a four-week course on baby sign language beginning 10:15 a.m. July 6. American Sign Language specialist Rachel Berman Blythe will teach the class. She will show how to teach everyday ASL vocabulary with games and storytelling to help reinforce the word acquisition.

Cost is $100 for the four classes. Children may attend. Call (480) 730-0205 to register.
