Tempe Preparatory Academy has hired a new headmaster for the upcoming school year.
The school has hired David Baum to take over the school, which teaches grades six through 12.
Baum comes from West Texas A&M University where he was the professor of humanities and director of the great books program. He received his undergraduate at the University of Dallas and his PhD from Yale University in Renaissance history.
Interim headmaster Jeffery Veenstra will serve as the school’s provost.
