It’s back! Third Thursdays produced by the Downtown Tempe community, in partnership with the merchants of the Mill Avenue District, is kicking off its first “Third Thursday” event of the year on Oct. 18.
The first event, which will take place from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the 6th Street Park, will be an Arizona State University Spirit and Tailgating party.
This event is the place to be prior to all home games. It will include vendors from Mill Avenue for a “Taste of Mill.” Dunk tanks, live bands and game trucks, plus traditional games such as bags, sign decorating, and appearances by Sparky and the Sun Devil football team.
Devils on Mill provides shade and cool-off stations with water and fans. Admission to the event is free.
