Parents in Tempe Union High School District and the Tempe and Kyrene elementary school districts will host a community forum to discuss “Proposition 100 and the Impact on Public Education” from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Compadre High School, 500 W. Guadalupe Road.
The forum is sponsored by the Parent Network. Prop 100 is a proposed, temporary 1 percent increase in the state sales tax to fund education, health care and public safety. The measure is on the May 18 ballot. Superintendents of the three districts will speak at the forum, along with a member of the Arizona Education Network.
