Pinal County’s new mobile health clinic is now serving residents of the town of Maricopa two days a week.
The mobile health clinic will be parked at the Maricopa Justice Court Complex between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. every Wednesday and Thursday. Staff includes a nutritionist and a registered nurse. The unit provides WIC (women, infants and children) nutrition services and childhood immunizations.
The Pinal County Public Health Services District began operation of its first mobile health clinic in August. The 39-foot mobile clinic was purchased with a grant from the Gila River Indian Community.
