A man robbed a Subway store Sunday and made off with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The man walked into the sandwich shop at 9666 E. Riggs Road about 4:30 p.m. and acted like he was an employee, according to the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office. He then jumped the counter and grabbed money out of the cash register before fleeing in a red, two-door sedan with tinted windows.

No weapon was seen during the robbery and no one was injured.

Authorities said they couldn’t find the suspect.

The robber is described as Hispanic, 18 years old, wearing blue jeans and a red shirt.

The robber rode in the passenger seat of the sedan, and witnesses couldn’t describe the driver. The sedan was last seen traveling eastbound on Riggs Road toward Alma School Road.
