The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office is notifying the public about a sex offender who has moved into the Apache Junction area.
Lee Brimmer, 28, lives at 502 S. Meridian Road. He is 6-foot-1, 175 pounds with blond hair and blue eyes.
In August 2000, Brimmer was convicted of sexual conduct with a 16-year-old girl and sentenced to a year in prison. In October 2004, he failed to register as a sex offender and received three years of probation.
Brimmer is not wanted by police, but authorities are required by law to notify residents of intermediate- to high-risk sex offenders.
