FLORENCE, Ariz. (AP) — A San Valley man has been arrested on suspicion of aggravated DUI and aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer.
Pinal County Sheriff's officials say 29-year-old Dylan Fann was involved in an auto accident early Friday and allegedly rear-ended an on-duty deputy in his patrol car.
The deputy says Fann was driving with a suspended license. Fann also had a warrant for his arrest for failure to appear in court on charges of driving with a suspended license last November.
Authorities say Fann showed signs of alcohol impairment, but refused to submit to field sobriety tests at the scene. A blood sample was later taken.
Fann has been booked into the county Adult Detention Center and is currently awaiting his initial appearance. It's unclear whether Fann has a lawyer yet.

Obviously this person has no respect for the law, or the safety of others. I think a max sentance in all counts will get his attention....
