Apache Junction is asking residents to fill more than 20 vacancies on city boards and commissions.
Residents who apply for the unpaid positions are asked to pick up, complete and submit a one-page application, available at the City Clerk’s Office at 300 E. Superstition Blvd.
The mayor and City Council will interview some candidates at an upcoming work session, which are typically held Monday nights at City Hall. Some positions require relevant work experience.
Some of the boards that need new members include the Planning and Zoning Commission and Library Board. All openings and an application are online at www.ajcity.net.
