An upcoming two-day camp in Queen Creek will teach aspiring male and female football players a number of techniques about the game from coaches and state-champion football players.
The San Tan Youth Football League’s skills and drills camp offers boys and girls between the ages of 5 and 14 two days of football lessons from the league’s coaches and members of the 2012 Division II state champion Bulldogs.
The camp is not full contact — the only contact drills involve tackling dummies — and no protective equipment such as helmets and shoulder pads are required or allowed.
The camp runs June 28 through June 29 at Desert Mountain Park, and the cost to participate is $60, which includes a camp T-shirt.
