Teen summer volunteer fair at Mesa libraries

Mesa Public Libraries is holding a series of teen volunteer fairs for students entering seventh through 12th grade, between the ages of 12 and 18 to fill positions for the Summer Reading Program. Jobs will assist as program desk aides, computer aids, self-checkout assistants, shelving positions, program craft aides and other miscellaneous duties.

Teens should come prepared to interview and, if accepted, must commit to volunteering a minimum of one to two hour shifts per week through the May 30 to July 27 program. A parent or legal guardian must be present for the teen to be interviewed.

Interviews will be from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Red Mountain Library, 635 N. Power Rd., 10 a.m. to noon April 27 at the Main Library, 64 E. First St., and 10 a.m. to noon May 4 at Dobson Ranch Library.
