The Mesa Unified School District governing board approved its budget for the 2010-2011 school year by a vote of 4-0 Tuesday evening.
One board member was not in attendance.
The $607,674,790 budget is a $26.3 million decrease from the 2009-2010 final revised budget.
The budget includes $301,972,194 for maintenance and operations, which is mostly used to fund salaries and benefits, a 2.4 percent decrease from the previous fiscal year.
