Mesa Libraries accept food for fines through April

Mesa Public Library is accepting non-perishable food items at all four branches to reduce fines through the end of April.

For every food item donated, the library will waive $1 in fines. The donated food will support the United Food Bank.

“...So if you bring in three cans of food, $3 will be waived,” said Heather Wolf, Mesa Library director. “It’s a win-win opportunity for both our patrons and United Food Bank.
