Be ready for the next big emergency, thanks to the fine folks at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Mesa South Stake. They’re hosting an emergency preparedness fair on Saturday, July 28 from 9 a.m. to noon. The event is free to the public.
Among the free classes and exhibits: child immunizations provided by Mesa Fire Department, financial planning, gardening, ham radio operating, food supply and canning, 72-hour kits, solar oven cooking, water storage, and more.
The LDS church building is located at 1415 E. Southern Ave., between Gilbert and Stapley.
