  Ugh...I wish the Trib would stop catering to this vile, corrupt organization that does more to harm actual charities than anything else.

  Are the editors incapable of doing some simple research? While it seems beyond the abilities of many donors, I expected more from media editors...although, at this point, I'm not sure why.

  Good Citizens - Donate to a REAL local charity, do not throw your money away with United Way, paying their six-figure salaries and other "administrative costs".

  And I wonder how many United Way donors realize that at least one of the "charities" that United Way funds actually caters to illegal aliens?
