Mountain Vista Medical Center's Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory is the first in the state to install the CARTO 3, 3-D imaging system, which benefits patients with a wide variety of abnormal heart rhythm disorders.

The system helps reduce procedure times and radiation exposure, increases patient safety and improves outcomes. The hospital recently expanded services by adding a third cardiac and vascular procedure room.

In addition, HealthGrades, the nation's leading independent health care ratings organization, recently recognized Mountain Vista among its top 10 percent in the nation for cardiac care and named the hospital as a recipient of the 2010 HealthGrades Cardiac Care Excellence Award.

Mountain Vista is a 178-bed hospital and is part of IASIS Healthcare Corp.
