Mesa PD searching for suspect in armed robbery at local CVS

The Mesa Police Department is searching for a suspect who allegedly robbed a CVS store on July 16.

According to a press statement released by the department, the incident occurred at the CVS located at 9152 E. Brown Road at approximately 7:44 p.m. The suspect, described as a white man in his early 20s, allegedly entered the store and lifted his shirt to reveal a handgun, then told the clerk to open the register. The clerk placed the money from the register in a CVS bag along with miscellaneous items the suspect selected.

The suspect exited the store and got into the driver’s seat of a silver four-door car. The car was seen leaving westbound along Brown Road.

Police report the suspect is 5-foot-6 and weighs approximately 160 pounds and has short black hair. He was seen wearing a black baseball cap with white writing on the front, a black T-shirt, baggy blue jeans and white shoes.
