Mesa police are seeking the public’s help in finding a man who robbed a branch of Wells Fargo Bank on Tuesday.
About 12:25 p.m., a man walked into the bank at 365 S. Power Road while talking on a cell phone and opened a black binder to display a note demanding cash. Next to it was a small black revolver pointed at the teller, according to police.
The teller handed over an undisclosed amount of cash, and the man left the bank, escaping east through the parking lot.
The robber is described as a Hispanic or Native American male in his 30s, approximately 6 feet tall, 150 pounds with acne scars on his face. He was wearing a black beanie, sunglasses, a light-colored jacket with NAUTICA on the left arm, blue jeans and white tennis shoes.
Anyone with information is urged to contact the Mesa Police Department at (480) 644-2211 or Silent Witness at (480) 948-6377.

We must love crime in this country since we sure as heck do nothing significantly about it. If only we had leaders who had spines.
I'm running for lord high executioner (as in the Mikado) and here is my plan for dirtbags:
any armed offense = jail till your dead
anyone hurt in a crime = fry your sorry tush within 72 hours of being convicted of the crime
Rape = hanging from the nearest tree or lamppost
Murder = see rape
Also all punishment will be on the 6pm news for the other punks and garbage bags to see.
No plea bargains, no mercy for convicted felons. Period
