Lack of film incentives deal jeopardizes Gateway Studios plan

  This really tears me up. [angry] We were real close to passing the amended tax credit bill SB 1159, and I was there at the AZ Production Association meeting looking at the actual bill and it was a MAJOR improvement to creating jobs that would effectively boost revenue and the economy here in Arizona. Especially for me, when I moved out here to Mesa a year ago to prepare for the building of Gateway Studios so I could apply for a job there. Now thanks to Jack Harper, it seems like he doesn't trust us to help build back Arizona's economy with possibly a lucrative method in the way of filmmaking to do it with. Shame on Jack and the House.
