A new partnership between Mesa and the Southwest Conservation Corps is allowing young adults to gain real life experience by improving storm drains in parks.

The Southwest Conservation Corps is for people between 18-25 with a high school diploma or GED who don’t know if they want to attend college. They receive real world experience, stipend and scholarship at the completion of the program. In Mesa, these people improved catch basins by forming and pouring concrete.
