Mesa’s School Safety and Security Department created a website, Take 25, for parents to make time to talk about child safety.

The department wants to empower children to make safer decisions and for adults to make the pledge to take 25 minutes to talk to their children about safety.

Some of the issues that the website emphasizes are: real-world risks, such as missing children, abductions, runaways and sexual exploitation. There are also online risks, such as sexual solicitation and exposure to inappropriate content

For more information and to make the pledge, visit www.take25.org.
