Police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating three men who robbed a west Mesa McDonald’s at gunpoint after throwing a rock through the drive-through window late Wednesday.

Police said three men climbed inside the drive-through window at the restaurant at 2001 N. Country Club Drive about midnight after one of them threw a rock the size of a baseball through it and threatened three workers with a handgun.

The man with the gun ordered the workers to get down on the floor and took the manager to the office, forcing her to open the safe. After taking an undisclosed amount of cash, the men ran out the back door.

No vehicle was seen and police were unable to locate anyone matching their description. The men were wearing bandanas across their faces, were about 5 feet 2 inches tall to 5 feet 9 and wore blue sweaters and black baggy pants.
