Police are investigating a strong-arm robbery at Compass Bank, 4450 E. Main St., in which the suspect grabbed a deposit bag from a woman Tuesday night.

According to police, the woman was attempting to deposit proceeds from the Burger King she works at in Chandler when a man approached her with his hands in his jacket pockets stating “Give me the money.” The woman and her teenage daughter, who was with her at the time, told police the suspect grabbed the deposit bag from her hands. He was last seen running to the east.

The suspect is described as a white man in his 20s, 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighing 160 pounds, and wearing a dark colored hooded jacket, black pants and dark sunglasses. The Criminal Investigations Unit is working on gathering possible video of the incident.
