Learn more about Arizona’s desert dwellers from an award-winning children’s author.
Arizona Museum of Natural History will welcome Conrad J. Storad as part of the AZ SciTech Festival. Storad, author of more than 30 books, will speak 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Feb. 23 at the museum, 53 North Macdonald St., Mesa.
Storad writes informative and entertaining science and nature books for children and young adults, including “Rattlesnake Rules” and “Desert Night Shift: A Pack Rat Story.” Special entrance fee for this event is $4 for all students and their adult chaperones or $7 for adults. No discounts or passes accepted.
