Curt Canaday of Mesa’s Mountain View High School was recently honored with the 2011 Coach Jesse Parker Legacy Award. Canaday’s dedication as an educator, “who inspires students to become outstanding members of society,” was cited by the Coach Jesse Parker Legacy Foundation in giving the honor.
Canaday has taught physics at Mountain View since 1989. He has coached the school’s Academic Decathlon teams since 2000.
