Skyline students showcase entrepreneurial skills

Students at Skyline High School in Mesa had a chance to flex their marketing skills during a pressure-packed classroom assignment.

The school’s advanced marketing students created business plans ranging from music lessons and language translation assistance to assisting the elderly with their technological needs.

The challenge came during the presentation that had students present their ideas to a panel of experts akin to the ABC show “Shark Tank.” The sharks included school counselors, Wells Fargo bankers and business professionals from the community.
