Not in the holiday spirit yet? Then check out a collection of wreaths in downtown Mesa that children and adults have entered into a contest.
The contest included an adult category and several youth categories defined by age, and allowed participants to build a wreath out of recycled materials, natural materials or unused household items. The wreaths are on display in Main Street stores through Dec. 18. The contest was sponsored by the Downtown Mesa Association, the Mesa Arts Center, Southwest Scrap Exchange and the city.
