The eighth annual Social Pow Wow at Mesa’s Westwood High School is a chance to revel in the beauty of a culture that is so much a part of Arizona’s history.

The event begins at 10 a.m. April 2 at the school, 945 W. Eighth St., with the Grand Entry at noon and 6 p.m. and the Gourd Dance at 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.

It will include Hopi and Navajo dancers, as well as arts and crafts and food vendors. For information on vendor spaces, call (602) 561-2187.
