East Valley students and their families are invited to meet with representatives from about 40 government agencies, community organizations, colleges and universities to learn about life after high school for students with special needs.

The 2012 Transition Expo will be 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. April 24 in the Mountain View High School cafeteria, 2700 E. Brown Road, Mesa.

“So many families don’t know about all the programs and services that are available. We have lots of information to share,” said Dan Cummins, Mountain View transition specialist.

This year’s expo is being coordinated by the Mesa Unified School District and the Tempe Union High School District.
