The Mesa Chamber of Commerce has announced the candidates for the best small, medium and large business of the year in advance of its annual dinner event.
The candidates for the small business are Arnett Insurance, Ivan Martinez Photography and Red Mountain Christian Center. The medium business finalists are Chester’s Harley Davidson, Las Sendas Golf Club and Organ Stop Pizza. The companies up for the large business award are Crescent Crown Distributing, FastMed Urgent Care and Superstition Springs Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram.
Two other organizations will receive accolades for safety and nonprofit; Americopy has earned the former and Mesa United Way garnered the latter. Other award winners aer Hernandez Diaz of Mesa High School for student of the year; Heather O’Brien of Red Mountain High School for teacher of the year; and Tawn Hauptli of Mesa Community College as the professor of the year.
The chamber will hand out the awards at its April 25 Leadership Awards Dinner at the Phoenix/Mesa Hilton.
