The Maricopa County Board of Supervisors is accepting letters of interest and resumes from county residents in order to find a replacement for Maricopa County Assessor Keith Russell.

A press release sent by the county states the board is accepting the letters and resumes from Republicans eligible to vote in Maricopa County who want to replace Russell, who resigned after he became the East Mesa Justice of the Peace. To apply, individuals need to submit a letter of interest and resume to the clerk of the board by 5 p.m. on July 31, and the board expects to name the replacement by the middle of August.
