Highland Elementary class up for $20,000 grant funding

Second-grade students at Highland Elementary Schools are vying to win up to $20,000 in grant funding to create their own organic garden.

The students in Amy DeLong’s class can win between $10,000 and $20,000 by receiving earn enough votes through the contest hosted on the Seeds of Change website. Voting began today and ends on April 21, and Seeds of Change will announce the winners on May 5.
