Ike Parrish of Mesa will spending his 100th birthday doing the same thing he's done the last 68 years - attend a Rotary Club meeting.
Parrish, who turns 100 Wednesday, hasn't missed a meeting since joining the Rotary in 1943. He's been a club president, district governor, world counselor, presidential aide and international director for the Rotary during that time. He'll give a speech at Wednesday's Mesa Rotary Club gathering at the Hilton, which will also be attended by Mesa Mayor Scott Smith.
Happy birthday Ike!
